No risk of ignition of solvents
In the Infragas industrial catalytic heaters models S/2000 and S/1000, gases (LPG, gas, natural gas) are filtered through a series of highly selective catalysts, previously heated by an armoured stainless steel electric element, and are then combined with the oxygen in the atmosphere, creating infrared radiation.

A process based
on flameless heat

This flameless heat process has outstanding safety features: if gasoline, solvents or any other inflammable substances come into contact with the surface of the heater, they will evaporate without igniting; a jet of gas on the surface of the heater becomes catalysed, and there is no danger of explosion or fire; even when a flame is brought near the surface of the heater, it is extinguished.

Widespread uses in drying coatings
The heaters can be employed in many industrial processes, especially where there are potential fire or explosion hazards: drying of coatings on metal after application as powder, drying of paper, board and textiles after processing and preheating plastics for thermoforming.
